量詞在寫作中的作用

　　【摘要】量詞在英語寫作中使用頻率很高。但很多考生，盡管學(xué)了不少年英文，還是不太會(huì)寫與數(shù)量相關(guān)的英語表達(dá)。下面就一起來看看吧。

　　這也難怪，英語量詞用法和中文量詞用法從來就不是對(duì)等的，例如說，英語的表達(dá)是a man的時(shí)候（特指），中文翻譯為“一個(gè)人”。

　　反之，當(dāng)英語出現(xiàn)精彩量詞搭配的時(shí)候，中文卻經(jīng)常用“群”這類的字代替，比如，a school of fishes，就只能翻譯為“一群魚”，又如a galaxy of geniuses就只能翻譯成“一群人才”，而很難看到原文中其實(shí)含有“群星璀璨”的內(nèi)涵。

　　久而久之，也就剩下一個(gè)用爛了的a lot of，因?yàn)榭忌褂脮r(shí)無需考慮名詞單復(fù)數(shù)，無論是可數(shù)名詞，還是不可數(shù)名詞，都能“通殺”，可隨之帶來的缺失量詞使用的單調(diào)乏味。

　　量詞寫作就能成為最小的寫作亮點(diǎn)。漂亮的英語表達(dá)未必是從漂亮句型開始的，而是從量詞的修飾開始的。

　　3、 various kinds of+名詞復(fù)數(shù)

　　12、a wide range of challenges：很多挑戰(zhàn)

　　13、a host of problems/a plague of problems:很多問題
　　14、a package of proposals：一攬子建議自
　　15、a chain of plans：一系列計(jì)劃
　　16、a segment of population：大量人口

　　17、a galaxy of geniuses：很多人才
　　18、a motorcade of vehicles：很多機(jī)動(dòng)車
　　19、a fleet of vessels：很多船
　　20、a concentration of poisonous gas：大量毒氣

　　21、a mushroom growth of urban area：大量城市
　　22、a magic blend of traditional culture and modern trend：傳統(tǒng)和現(xiàn)代趨勢的融合

　　這些量詞屬于寫作中最基本的用法，寫出來閱卷者也未必會(huì)眼前一亮，只會(huì)覺得“這孩子還行，受過點(diǎn)兒寫作訓(xùn)練。”，而你總寫a lot of的時(shí)候，他也不會(huì)多不滿，只會(huì)長嘆一聲，覺得“你學(xué)了這么些年英文，咋連最基本的都不會(huì)呢？”
